I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. With Play therapy, we will allow the client to explore/express feelings and emotions through healthy play.

While working with children (6+), teens, and adults, I take on a strength based, client-centered approach that’s collaborative, culturally sensitive and non-judgmental. I use cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, arts therapy, play therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing to help clients achieve their goals.

I put high importance on the therapeutic relationship I build with clients and providing a safe, supportive, and trusting therapeutic space.
