WPA Counselling in CT4
I have extensive experience working in mental health since 2004. Currently I work as a therapist both in person and online. I work with client´s with specific issues like anxiety and PTSD but also with client who struggle to feel empty as if life lacks moments of happiness or fulfilment. Often it is helpful to understand our current difficulties through exploring past experiences and how they may have impacted upon us. Some people prefer not to think too much about the past, rather focus on managing the day to day. Everyone is different and part of the process is working out what feels most helpful for you.

There's a first time for everything. Most newcomers to counselling & psychotherapy start out feeling a little intimidated by the idea of this rather mysterious process. I aim to demystify what I do - clients often comment on what they describe as a down-to-earth and accessible approach. My aim is ultimately to help you understand yourself and your behaviour. I feel that goal is best achieved by working in a non-threatening, straightforward and inclusive way.

We are an established and experienced service supporting clients with a wide range of emotional issues. Integral to our working ethos is the therapeutic relationship, where we endeavour to help our clients with self-awareness, self- acceptance, resilience, re-connection and ultimately healing. We offer an integrative approach which draws from a range of psychological theories, with a foundation based in counselling. As therapists we work to understand your experience from your perspective, which can help restore a connection to your inner values and sense of self-worth, thus enabling you to find a way to move forward & progress.

I became a therapist because I am passionate about people and improving as well as enhancing mental wellbeing. I understand that life can be a challenge and at times it may be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but I want to assure you that you do not have to go through life’s struggles by yourself. I am here for you and I am here with you. With your permission, I would like to come besides you and help you explore and discover events, thoughts, feelings and patterns of behaviour and together support you to make changes.
