I am an experienced artist and art psychotherapist with a private practice in my home in Richmond. You do not need to be an ‘artist’ or ‘good at art’ to benefit from making and engaging in art therapy. It is not about producing masterpieces (although you may surprise yourself). And although all materials are included and their use encouraged, art making during sessions is not a requirement.
