My name is David, I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. I provide Individual psychotherapy for younger and older adults, addressing a variety of issues from self-image and confidence to depression and bereavement. My sessions are available in English and Russian language. Online sessions are available via Skype or Zoom, making it convenient to attend remotely from anywhere in the world. After the first session, where we would have the opportunity to meet each other, explore your story and issues you might be experiencing, I will offer you open-ended work on a weekly basis or more frequent if you find it useful.
In therapy, we will work together towards identifying some unapparent and recurring patterns that underpin your behaviours, interpersonal relationships and life-long emotional experiences. Whatever personal or interpersonal issues you are facing, first of all I work with you as an individual with your own unique personal history.
You will get the reflective space and time that is exclusively yours. I work in psychodynamic approach, where interaction in the therapeutic space can reflect what might be happening in your personal relationships and other areas of your life generally. My work is also informed by person-centred values, where we work together in a therapeutic alliance.
