My name is Kevin Barry, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Registered Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience working in the field of Mental Health & Substance Use. I am currently a coordinator at the Surrey Mental Health & Substance Use, Urgent Care Response Centre. In 2016, I co-founded Inspirit Health Group which is a successful integrated health clinic located in Downtown. I am also a counselling instructor at City University, Douglas College, and Sprott Shaw.

Through genuine warmth, compassion & presence, I try to cultivate a soft landing place for my clients so they don’t have to struggle with life’s circumstances on their own. While my roots are in AEDP & IFS, I use a holistic, trauma-informed, collaborative approach where I welcome all diverse parts of my clients to be witnessed in the light with me.
