I offer sessions to adolescents (15+), adults & couples experiencing various issues. Challenging relationships can take a toll on our mental health and well-being. We can identify difficulties in relationships (romantic, familial, work or otherwise) that may be causing distress. Some topics addressed include boundaries, attachment, and communication. I also offer perinatal counselling for those who need support through pregnancy and/or the postpartum period. Additional areas of interest include adult ADHD & PMDD. I have an easygoing and supportive approach and believe you know yourself best.
I use an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating multiple therapeutic theories to tailor treatment to the specific needs of each client or couple. I pull from a combination of therapies such as CBT, psychodynamic & narrative therapy. I strongly believe the most important aspect of therapy is having a strong rapport and feeling comfortable.
Being unsure and nervous about therapy is understandable. Showing up is the most important part. I foster a comfortable environment that holds space for all emotions. I encourage open communication throughout sessions about what is working or not working for you. Reach out to get started today.
