Family Mental Health Education
Workshops are for families and caregivers who have an adult relative with a mental health problem. Topics include motivational helping skills, coping skills for the family, communication with the ill person, keys to wellness, community resources, suicide awareness, medications, non-violent crisis intervention and more. Our commitment is to educate and assist with self-care for the caregivers, understanding the symptoms (schizophrenia, depression, bipolar, anxiety, personality disorder and PTSD) and how to navigate the healthcare system to get the best services available for your ill family member.
