Divine Alchemy (formerly Bliss Mental Health) is at a new location at 518 Lake Street, Suite 203. I believe that all human beings have a remarkable ability to grow and change. Some clients come to me with a great deal of depression or hopelessness about their lives without the insight as to how they can be helped. I use a strengths-based approach as I listen to their stories to find the hope, possibilities, and resiliencies that coexist alongside suffering and insecurities. Therapies are evidenced-based and trauma informed and approach clients from a spiritual and cultural lens.

Children are one third of our population and all of our future. I specialize in children, teens and families. I believe that parents do the best they can with the tools they have been given - tools that can be learned and expanded through counselling. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University, and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors I work primarily with individual children (6-12), individual teens (ages 13+) and parents.

I am passionate about supporting children, teens and young adults. Over the past decade I have been committed to providing therapeutic counselling services to children, adolescents and their families in the West Kootenays. I have provided art therapy services through a number of local community services centers as well as for school districts.

I have an eclectic approach to counselling. My approach is highly successful as I tailor the approach, techniques, and therapeutic environment to meet your individual needs. However, I draw primarily from Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory and neuroscience and use EMDR, talk, play and art based interventions. I work with children, youth, families couples and individual adults. I help to support challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, loss and addictions.
