I enjoy working with young people (12-17 years old) and adults (18+). I believe in the healing benefits of the therapeutic relationship and the mind’s ability to recover. I am interested in establishing and maintaining a therapeutic alliance with my clients, while utilising compassion focused interpersonal (IPT), cognitive behaviour (CBT), and dialectical behaviour (DBT) therapy techniques.

I have over 4 years experience working as a psychotherapist working within the counselling and psychotherapy space. Seeing clients who are neurodiverse as well as those who present with other complex mental health concerns. I have conducted therapy is many different spaces including, Residential Services, High Schools and working alongside other practitioners and consulting for private practice. Trained in and practice cognitive behavioural therapy, Gottman Method counselling (Couples Counselling). Autism Counselling is a group of 6 experienced therapists who deliver specifically tailored sessions to suit children, teens, adults , couples and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are dedicated to helping individuals and families manage the specific challenges of ASD.

I believe in the power of tailored interventions, and I work closely with clients to design treatment plans that align with their unique needs.

Cecile is a warm and caring Clinical Psychologist and EMDR consultant, with a particular interest in working with people who had a difficulty and/or traumatic childhood. She has experience working in the public and community mental health sectors, and is therefore highly skilled working with mid-to-late adolescents and adults who experience a range of emotional and psychological concerns, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood/complex trauma, grief, dissociation, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, identity confusion, interpersonal conflict and relationship problems, self-harm and personality disorders.

Rosemary is a warm, gentle and caring Psychologist.  Her approach is gentle yet purposeful, and uses an integrative approach to treatment.  Rosemary has a particular interest in perinatal mental health, parent and infant mental health, trauma, childhood anxiety, and parenting. Rosemary is also able to provide Autism, ADHD, Cognitive and Educational Assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She is a fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA, a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists, and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

With a particular interest in trauma recovery, Kate prioritises a safe, confidential and empathic therapy space. It is in such an environment that a collaborative therapeutic relationship may be developed to facilitate client goals. These goals may consist of developing emotional regulation, recovering from childhood trauma, establishing communication skills, enhancing self-care practices or any other number of goals. I am a provisionally registered psychologist currently completing my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. Prior to this, I completed my PhD at Flinders University, where I conducted research in cognitive psychology. My doctoral work has provided me with insights into the way people think, and the way people understand their own thinking, which I am now applying in my clinical practice. In particular, my goal is to equip my clients with the tools to better understand their thoughts and behaviour so that they can more effectively manage life’s challenges.
