The program does not replace an individual's current outpatient treatment, but rather serves to enhance the client's existing plan of care when further intervention is needed. We serve adults 18 years and over with a variety of mental health diagnoses. Clients must be cognitively and emotionally capable of participating in group therapy, and should demonstrate a reasonable expectation for improvement in their diagnosis and level of functioning.

We have three IOPs geared toward Mental Health. Two IOPs are DBT focused, one in the morning and one in the evening. The third IOP is a Health and Wellness IOP focused on those suffering with an acute or chronic Mental Health condition. Ray of Hope’s behavioral health treatment programs includes intervention services, group, individual and family counseling, activity therapy and mental health treatment programs customized for each client. Looking for a step down level of care? Midwest Recovery Center offers PHP, IOP and outpatient programming for patients struggling with addiction, alcohol and mental health disorders. We treat co-occurring disorders in which patients suffer from both addiction and mental health disorders like mood or thought disorders. We provide a safe environment and caring staff at our facility. We hope to have the opportunity to help you or your loved one. Typical PHP, Partial Hospitalization, programs are usually 5 days, about 6-8 hours of programming a day and include group and individual group therapy sessions. We have comfortable and spacious group therapy rooms, private offices for our one-on-one therapy sessions with our licensed counselors and providers. Typical IOP, Intensive Outpatient, is 3-4 days a week, about 3-4 hours per day. We offer flexible schedules because we know that many patients are trying to go back to school or find employment and may work during the day time.

An Addictionologist is a doctor who is board certified and specializes in addiction medicine. This discipline requires extensive study and experience treating substance use disorders. Dr. Whitsett is one of a few board-certified addictionologists in Ohio. Dr. Marc Whitsett currently practices exclusively at The Ridge program in Ohio.
