Milestones provides residential as well as day treatment programs for individuals suffering with Compulsive Overeating, Bulimia, Anorexia, and related disorders. We are a therapeutic community whose mission is to offer a supportive environment from which to begin a new way of life... a life way we refer to as "recovery." Milestones follows a "blended" approach to treatment - addressing both the "addictive" and emotional aspects of an eating disorder. Residents attend a full schedule of group and individual activities during the day as well as participate in various support groups during evenings and weekends. Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and "real world" experiences are an integral part of the program. Unlike a traditional hospital environment, Milestones affords an opportunity to recover in a less restrictive setting while still receiving the support and structure necessary to overcome an eating disorder. Residential Treatment accepts both local and out of area residents, with most of the program's participants coming to us from throughout the United States Located in South Florida, Milestones is near two major airports in the South Florida area.

The Refuge, A Healing Place is pleased to offer an eating disorder program for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, and orthorexia. This stand-alone treatment program in Ocklawaha, Florida, is designed to help clients address the underlying concerns that are affecting their health, well-being, and ability to pursue recovery. At The Refuge, we provide care for a diverse range of clients, including individuals who may not be accepted into other eating disorder programs due to their complex needs. We are proud to serve members of the LGBTQ+ community, pregnant clients, individuals who need detox, people who have special dietary requirements, and those who have co-occurring mental health concerns. Having an untreated eating disorder can negatively impact every area of someone’s life, and we are committed to helping our clients find lasting healing.

We are a full service Outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Center located in Lake Mary, Florida. Dr Patrick Nave has over 25 years of counseling experience in Washington, California and Florida and utilizes a modified cognitive-behavioral approach in dealing with all addiction issues. Our CARF accredited program offers therapists who have over 90 years of experience in the substance abuse/mental health field . We believe that, in order to help clients, we have to look at the whole person not just the dysfunction. Our focus is on helping our clients to become who they were before they began using substances and to uncover any pain/trauma/grief that has kept them in a self-destructive cycle. Inspire Recovery takes a creative approach in the treatment of substance use. Detoxification is the process that helps a person rid their body of the substances they have been abusing. Attempting to go through this process without medical supervision can be dangerous and often painful. At Twelve Oaks Recovery Center in Navarre, Florida, we provide medically supervised detoxification, or detox, services for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions. Clients who participate in the detox program at our facility typically spend three to seven days going through a process that rids the body of alcohol or other drugs while minimizing the discomfort of withdrawal. Our staff of doctors and registered nurses is on hand to observe clients round-the-clock, prioritizing health and comfort levels so that these individuals may progress in their recovery once detox is complete. Some clients may receive a prescribed medication to help them avoid negative effects of withdrawal, and all clients are encouraged to participate in therapeutic programming during detox if they are physically capable of doing so.
