She has over 20 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in areas including separation, divorce, depression, anxiety, anger management, mood disorders, grief, and abuse, as well as dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental health concerns. She has dedicated a substantial part of her practice to working with families going through separation and divorce.

Emmy has exceptional experience with individuals diagnosed with a wide range of mental health disorders and developmental disabilities, including Anxiety, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and behavior disorders. Her special interests include treating anxiety, trauma, providing behavior treatment, play therapy, psychoeducation to parents, couples and family therapy. Emmy approaches each client uniquely with enthusiasm, empathy, and dignity.

Dr. Braam’s has years of experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. She conducts psychological evaluations to help clarify diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans, which may include medication management, therapy, or a combination of modalities. She maintains a treatment approach using cognitive behavioral therapy.
