Hello! I'm Susan Sharp, a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist with a passion for helping couples and individuals build fulfilling and loving relationships. With over 30 years of experience in the field of counseling and psychotherapy, I specialize in guiding people towards deeper connection, effective communication, and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner. My approach is rooted in the transformative Imago Relationship Therapy, which aims to heal past wounds and foster growth and understanding within partnerships. I also have training in helping people experiencing divorce.

She also has experience as a mentor and life coach with individual clients and has been able to help them find their full potential. With over 18 years experience she is a seasoned clinician with real life experience.

I have worked in clinical practice for 12 years, and have 20 years professional experience, with an 8-year career in public relations prior to clinical practice. I was called to the helping profession and received my master's in social work in 2011. Since then, I have been called a "fierce advocate" and "impassioned counselor" by my clients and colleagues. I have served as a therapist in medical/trauma and psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), in community health and in schools. I currently provide psychotherapy and premarital counseling in private practice and SPED counseling services in schools.

As an integrative therapist, I have the advantage of drawing from various therapeutic modalities and techniques. This approach allows therapy to be tailored to the client's unique needs. As a minority counselor, I understand the value in someone's upbringing, experiences, and culture. And they will allows be consideration throughout the counseling process.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a First Responder for over 20 years and continue to work on the ambulance part-time.
