Haleigh received a Bachelor’s of Social Work at Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Master’s of Social Work with a direct practice in mental health and substance abuse at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has experience working in substance use treatment, dual diagnosis work release and probation programs, as well as her most recent work being at an eating disorder treatment center for adolescents and adults.

It is vital for each client to feel comfortable with their counselor. Therapy works best when it is open and honest so that trust is built within sessions. The client and counselor work together as a team to find the problems, set goals, and put effort into the solutions so that the client can grow into who they desire to become.

My name is Laura Auldridge and I am currently accepting new clients in my downtown, Mckinney Town Square office! I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the K-State, and a master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I like using different approaches and tools to help you improve and create boundaries in order to improve quality of life and reduce symptoms of depression or anxiety you might be struggling with. I have enjoyed working with different levels of care in my career, and have been fortunate to help individuals reduce and manage depression, anxiety, as well as work towards sobriety.

Sometimes life can feel like trying to climb Mount Everest without any supplies. As a fellow traveler of life, I have experienced steep climbs, low valleys, feeling disconnected, and at times hopeless. The experiences of my journey have given me an authentic wisdom to navigate the unfamiliar or challenging terrain with you. Together, we can do hard things and tread across the contours of life. My areas of focus are: trauma, personal/mental health challenges while parenting/raising children, women's mental health, peri/postpartum anxiety/depression, substance use, identity development, geriatric, life transitions, and end of life.
