I enjoy working with people from ages 16- 35. These are exciting and challenging times. Many people graduate from high school, go to college, start careers and start families. These are times when people begin to get to know themselves and become their true selves. These transitions can come with unique challenges. Sometimes one's values do not align with their families values, or their talents are not celebrated in their community. It can be very difficult to balance the demands of school, extra-curricular activities and a social life. Also, life doesn't stand still so difficult events like death, divorce and break-ups happen.

During the therapeutic process, I challenge clients with the statement that I am "Daring You to Be YOU!" This challenge of personal acceptance is designed to help individuals to evaluate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to determine what is hindering them from achieving their goals. As clients go through the therapeutic process, they learn to develop the intimacy (in-to-me-I-see) needed to develop the strength to face life's challenges. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of clinical experience, regularly working with individuals of all ages, addressing concerns such as ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, and Self Esteem. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a Person-Centered approach, and a combination of many other modalities to provide tailored counseling to each person I work with during therapy.
