I am a 1st generation Taiwanese-American immigrant who came to the US as an adolescent. I can conduct therapy in fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and English. I am a full-time self-employee and mother of 2. I changed careers from Engineering B.S, to Business M.M., to Counseling/Behavioral Science M.Ed. therapy. I worked at MIT, and I am currently working on my Ph.D in Clinical Sexology. I empathize with work life balance issues, stress/time management, and career transition/satisfaction. My core goal is to empower individuals, couples and families to make healthy, positive changes in their professional and personal lives.

I have always connected with people and enjoy working with individuals who know something is not working well in their lives but who are not sure how to make changes. My values and worldview are shaped by my personal experience of multiculturalism, having moved to Houston from Singapore at age 16, and I recognize that mental health is not about what you learn in a textbook. I have personally overcome assimilation barriers and I have a sensitivity for the differences people bring into relationships. I see mental health recovery as a process and not an event and would be honored to join you in your journey.

I have worked in private practice, university clinics, and hospital settings across the country including Lucille Packard Children's Stanford and Texas Children's Hospital. I have over 20 years experience working with kids, teens, and adults with a wide range of mental health and behavioral conditions. Including kids with ADHD, Autism, Learning DIsabilities, and Grief.
