I provide conversation, expressive arts, and activity-based therapies with adults, couples, and teens. I provide play therapy for children, allowing them to feel safe, express themselves, and find solutions to problems, all in their natural language of play. I also enjoy collaborating with parents and caregivers to enhance relationships with their children and ease parenting challenges.

Since the days of pigtails, I’ve been pulled by this strong force to access wisdom and connect with something higher than this tangible world. This gnawing passion has led me to study the power of the mind and how to create what our souls truly desire. I’ve been blessed to study ancient technologies such as yoga and breathwork and am so passionate about sharing simple tools to effect real change. I was trained in counseling at University of North Texas, receiving my Masters in Education. My favorite courses were transpersonal counseling and stress reduction through movement.

Sandhya Sharma is a South Asian Indian LPC and certified addictions specialist who works with: Adults, Teens, LGBTQ community, and International Communities. Sandhya will help create a safe and supportive therapy environment and work with you collaboratively to both accurately assess your strengths as well as areas of struggle. She will develop a treatment plan with you to help you facilitate behavioral changes that more successfully meet your goals. Sandhya will help you look at the ways you have been currently coping with life’s problems and help you to develop new strategies from a strengths-based perspective. 

Beyond talk therapy. I believe that life should be meaningful and that the path from the head to the heart is the one that matters most. My goal is to help people connect to who they really are and feel good in their skin again. This requires making changes on a deep level. I provide sexual addiction help in an atmosphere that is encouraging and accepting and meet the client and his or her family where they are. My specialty is sexual addiction, and I am a Dallas area Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) trained personally by Dr Patrick Carnes. I treat drug and alcohol dependence, and associated trauma, grief, and depression as well. I treat cybersex addiction, pornography addiction, multiple affairs, and other sexually compulsive behavior. Sexual addiction, like other addictions, affects the whole family system, especially the partner. I am a CPTT, Certified Partner Trauma Therapist as well.

I practice what I term Integral Personal Growth Work....integrating body, mind and spirit.
