I specialize in trauma recovery, grief, loss, and spirituality. I have worked with survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual assault, suicide, and various forms of self-harm. I also work with individuals who want to explore issues related to identity, gender, and sexuality. I help cultivate an authentic, integrated, and empowered expression of self by way of connecting with denser emotions such as grief, fear, and despair. This work is grounded in belief through experience that we can heal, regenerate, and thrive. I obtained my AM from the University of Chicago in 1995 after having a successful business career as a CPA. My extensive professional experience coupled with life experience as a wife, mother, community member, athlete and spiritual student offer my clients a rich, broad-reaching range of services to help them become their best selves.

Even when we have received the ideal nurturing, secure, validating childhood, which can help us to negotiate complexities and challenges we may face later in life, our inner resources can become depleted. The capacity to find joy and comfort may elude us. Rebalancing areas of outer life, and planning steps toward change may be in order. I make time to learn about the myriad ways that using art, energetic, somatic and stress reducing therapies can help each person who comes in, to restore their inner lives as well.

I have over a decade of experience in working with others, and will bring a comprehensive and eclectic approach to our time together.

I am passionate about helping others achieve goals, work through and problem solve as well as address significant mental health issues and obstacles that intrude, create havoc and prevent individuals from living happy and healthy. As well as a licensed clinical social worker, I also have a masters degree in communication disorders....I'll help you find how and what to say when words and the ability to express feelings are at a loss. I have a very integrative practice, using EMDR with Mindful Awareness in the treatment of trauma. Whether you suffer with symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, or poor self esteem, the EMDR process will help you to go beyond alleviating symptoms and help you to find a greater sense of purpose and satisfaction in the direction of your life. As part of an integrative wellness center, I teach meditation as well as provide psychotherapy. As consciousness evolves and healing occurs, I will help you see how the crisis becomes a doorway for growth beyond what you could have imagined.

I have specific training in EMDR and Sensorimotor (somatic) Psychotherapy. I am a practicing psychedelic-assisted therapist and have trained extensively with ketamine. I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions in partnership with Journey Clinical. I offer psychedelic prep and integration sessions that are guided by my familiarity with Traditional Amazonian Plant Medicines. In September 2022 I will train in psilocybin assisted therapy in Amsterdam.
