Helping children and teens with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship issues, ADHD, learning struggles, low self esteem, parent/child, teen conflict, and sexual identity are all areas I enjoy working with. Client problems come in all shapes and sizes, with all kinds of different life experiences and reasons and needs. Problems are common in the world, and it is hard to shoulder the responsibilities set on our shoulders. It can feel lonely with the burden that people carry, and it seems reasonable to find ways to meet needs that are not being met. Sometimes these can be unhealthy habits that just cause more problems. Sometimes, it leads to a build up of pressure until everything is overwhelming and out of control. It disrupts our Serenity, and building this back up sometimes needs a helper.

I view each client's life as a constantly shifting ecosystem, and I believe that successful interventions are multifaceted. I strive to cultivate cultural humility in myself, and to help clients understand and re-craft personal narratives according to their values. In addition, I help clients to navigate romantic and family relationships as well as friendships. One of my primary goals as a therapist is to understand the unique and varied challenges of the LGBTQ community; being "LGBTQ friendly" is not enough.

Where is your favorite place that provides a sense of calm and purpose? Mine is my Grandma's Red Pier from childhood. My hope is to help you find this sense of calm and purpose in your everyday life.
