Queer Asterisk is a queer and trans-led 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in Colorado. We provide outpatient individual, relational, family and group counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and relationships of all configurations. Our diverse team of compassionate, affirming mental health providers and graduate-level clinical interns create safer therapeutic spaces for clients to heal and grow. We also offer gender awareness and responsiveness trainings for other organizations and healthcare providers, including hospitals, schools and treatment centers.

Sometimes, it can be helpful to walk alongside a companion who is dedicated to working with you to achieve your goals, bring you insight, and empower you to move towards genuine fulfillment. I am passionate about honoring your story and how it shapes your thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs. Because no two individuals are the same, your therapeutic work should reflect your individual needs and objectives. I blend narrative therapy, Brainspotting, somatic therapy, and parts work to help you meet your therapy goals.

I work with children, adolescents and adults who are primarily dealing with anxiety, depression and relationship issues. Emotional health is as important as physical health. We work together to understand how to accomplish change. I work in medical and mental health settings with the belief that integrating feelings with appropriate behavior creates a more peaceful existence. This summer I will be offering psychotherapy with equine assistance for kids (individual and group treatment) ages 6-adolescents at Affinity Ranch in Parker, CO.

My specialty lies in helping individuals and families overcome the impact of traumas, transitions, and other major life events. I also specialize in the perinatal period, specifically pregnancy loss and postpartum. I believe in creating a safe, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space to support you in reaching your goals, and commit to doing my own personal work to create a practice that is culturally-responsive and anti-oppressive. In addition to direct therapy, I provide caregiver/parent coaching, providing you support and tools to strengthen the parent-child relationship. I also offer clinical supervision toward LCSW licensure hours.
