I am a licensed clinical child psychologist specializing in utilizing state of the art assessment and therapy techniques to detect and treat learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and other emotional/personality issues which may hinder a child's learning experience. In addition, our clinic performs infant developmental testing, auditory processing screenings, and giftedness testing. As a parent of five children, I understand the many issues that we face on a daily basis with our children and I strive to assist parents with finding answers to problems facing their family system.

I specialize in work related to anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, perfectionism, and depressive symptoms. I have experience working with individuals to overcome self-harm and helping teens build their self confidence! In addition to therapy, I offer psychoeducational and psychological testing to clarify diagnoses, highlight strengths and weaknesses, and identify appropriate accommodations if applicable. (CBT Therapy and testing ages 7+).

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clemson University and Master’s and Specialist’s degrees in School Psychology from the University of Georgia. I have experience working within the public school setting as a School Psychologist and as a Child and Adolescent Psychologist II for the SC Department of Mental Health. I am a former President of the International Dyslexia Association - SC and member of the SC Dyslexia Law Task Force. I am the former Co-Owner of Breakwater Associates, a multidisciplinary private practice that offered psychoeducational evaluations, dyslexia therapy, counseling, and executive function coaching.

I treat a broad spectrum of problems including: Anxiety & Depression, Grief & Relationship Issues, Family and Child Conflicts, ADD/ADHD, as well as trauma related symptoms. I often use psychological testing to facilitate diagnosis and personality description. I offer supportive and practical intervention using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness, cognitive & psychodynamic approaches tailored to your strengths and individual needs.
