I have great faith in the healing power of therapy. Psychotherapy allows us the time and space for us to identify our feelings, our perceptions of self, how we are doing, what may be holding us back, and what we want out of life. Merely by talking about ourselves and what matters to us, we can begin to understand and accept ourselves Working with a compassionate well trained therapist and can help us feel that we are not alone, that there is hope and we that we can feel well.
My goal for all of my clients is that they feel their best, believe in their abilities and find compassion for themselves and others. I help people develop coping skills that help to understand reaction to stress, learn how to identify and change thought patterns, help to heal emotional wounds, and pursue meaningful practices to improve well being
I treat individuals, couples and families. I have recently added virtual Meditation Groups to my practice. Meditation is well regarded as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Technique, as a positive practice for managing internal and external stress. This group will be covered by client's insurance benefits.
