Is your child or teen struggling with behavioral or emotional issues? Do you need some guidance on how best to navigate these troubling areas? Perhaps I can assist you and your child/teen during this difficult time. I have extensive training working with parents and families to help decrease the effects of trauma, divorce, behavioral issues, mood disorders, or just offer a little direction during a challenging time in your child's life. My desire is to provide individuals and families with healing and hope for their mental health needs, and to be a reliable ally and advocate for resources, if needed.
I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University and recently became a Certified Child & Adolescent Grief Counseling Specialist. I assist families and individuals struggling with grief, behavioral issues, addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma utilizing Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
Sometimes the first step is the hardest but the reward is lifelong and multigenerational. Contact my office today for an appointment to start a very crucial healing journey for yourself and your child/teen. You may be pleasantly surprised at how taking the first step feels so much like a step of hope.
