I work with a wide variety of clients such as relationship issues; trauma and grief work. I also do hypnotherapy to deal with anxiety,pain management, sports improvement,smoking cessation, weight management , and relaxation, plus many other issues. I entered the counseling profession to support individuals who are having difficulties facing life’s challenges. I have found that many people struggle because they have created unrealistic expectations about the support, relationships, and encouragement they need. I believe that as humanity becomes “busier,” life becomes more complicated, affecting relationships and how we see ourselves fitting in the world. Life is often full of difficult and complicated experiences that are difficult to overcome, especially without support. Ultimately, these difficulties distract us from pursuing what enriches our lives.

I offer Doctoral-level therapy with a specialized focus on working with Men. Anxiety, Relationship/Sexual Issues, Depression, College/Young Adults, Motivation/Focus, Social Anxiety, Assertiveness, Anger, Porn/Sexual/Gaming Addictions, Career, and Spirituality are concerns I often address. Sometimes issues look different in men and go unrecognized, or need a different approach. With clients I draw from 17 years in the field, applying a unique blend of thought-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), practical Reality/Choice Theory, Psychodynamic Therapy (exploring underlying influences), and Gottman Method (for relationships).
