I specialize in counseling people experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms and enjoy working with those in the LGBTQ community. I am from a small town in southeastern KY and obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from EKU. I spent my internship at The Ridge Behavioral Health and have 2.5 years of experience in the foster care system. I am trained in EMDR and use it to assist clients in diffusing their most distressing memories into non-distressing memories.

My name is Aaron Meriwether, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I view the counseling process as an alliance between client and therapist and consider the clients as the experts of their lives.
