I have had good success with working with the resolution of depression and anxiety with clients for over 35 years. I work with people who are trying to improve their marriage or reluctantly must decide another direction. Sometimes men are ambivalent about trusting therapy. While the national norm is that therapist caseloads are 70/30 % women more than men, my norm is an even split between men and women. Men do find they can make headway on stubborn relational or emotional issues. I also see adolescent boys as they make their transition into young manhood.

TriCare Counseling and Consulting started accepting clients in 2010 as a practice that partners with professionals to form a caring team dedicated to improving the qualify of life for children, adolescents, and adults who deal with mental health disorders. I have spent the bulk of my career helping children and their families to deal with a broad range of issues in healthy ways and to realize that their pasts do not have to limit their futures. For more than 20 years, I have enjoyed my practice with adolescents and adults with varying concerns, particularly trauma, depression, and anxiety. From years of working with high risk youth and adolescents, I am also very familiar with the juvenile justice system and with oppositional defiant or conduct disordered adolescents.

Elizabeth Gamble, Psy.D. is a clinical neuropsychologist with experience at a major regional medical center and in private practice. She evaluates and treats adult patients with mental illness and neurological impairment, preferring cognitive-behavioral and hypnotherapeutic techniques during individual psychotherapy sessions. From her nearly three decades of assisting those with significant mental and physical suffering, she has learned that the capacity for resilience lies within each of us, sometimes needing a spark, and sometimes a candle, to light the fire within.
