I have over 20 years experience as a therapist in diverse settings/ different populations. I provide individual and family therapy to children and young adults. I am interested in helping people become the best version of themselves and focusing on their strengths. My goal is to provide a safe place for self exploration, gaining insight, awareness and acceptance. I integrate theories of mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and use holistic approach to help people find balance and peace in their lives. I also have a therapy dog named Biscuit (pictures) who is sometimes in the sessions also.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a holistic approach to treatment. I have over thirty years of clinical experience. To best help my clients I make a point of keeping abreast of current and new theories, and integrate them with traditional strategies. I help individuals, couples and families negotiate through a large variety of issues and life transitions. My specializations include: anxiety, depression and bipolar disorders, grief and loss, women's issues, addiction issues, trauma, dysfunctional and toxic relationships, and navigating through stage of life issues.

Project Family, LLC is a community healthcare organization serving children, adolescents, and adults with mental health needs and substance abuse concerns. Our agency includes psychiatrists, psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) who collaborate to provide integrative care. As a Community Provider we are approved by the state of Georgia to offer outpatient behavioral health services including Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Behavioral Health Assessments, Treatment Planning, Psychiatric Services and many others.

I can assist the client in developing and strengthening the skills needed to effectively manage their lives.

I use my skills as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, Registered Yoga Teacher-500, & EMDR trained therapist along with IFS-informed parts work to help empower others to heal their wounds. I was motivated to earn the credentials of Registered Yoga Teacher-500 & Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator when my psychotherapy practice revealed to me that achieving whole-self healing requires not only addressing the scars of the mind, but also those held in the body.

Holly Johnson is a psychotherapist specializing in deep therapeutic healing work. Using her 21 years in the field to grow and evolve her practice, she now uses a highly intuitive, integrative approach for helping people to heal and transform old patterns into healthy life patterns. She uses the model internal family systems, and is Level 2 trained. Most of us have experienced trauma and at the least, negative conditioning in childhood. Internal family systems is the best model for working with healing that.
