Hello. My name is Paula Mierzejewski, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I see children, adolescents and adults up to the age of 65. My specialties are anxiety and depression. I started my practice later in life and believe my life's experiene makes me a better therapist. I used to work in a law firm and developed severe migraines and knew I needed to move onto a new career. So at 57, I started my journey in graduate school and finished when I was 60. What drives me to do this work is that I know how debilitating anxiety and depression are.

I am an interactive therapist. My therapeutic approach is a positive strength-based approach. I work with individuals, adolescents, and families. I work with those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce, parenting difficulties, life transitions and changes, questions about identity, as well as people struggling with everyday life. I bring a new perspective to old patterns of coping.

I work towards recognizing your existing skills and strengths and helping you to expand those into stronger, more adaptable ones to help you achieve your goals. For over 10 years I have been working with children and adults from diverse populations and cultural backgrounds. I have a vast range of clinical experience in forensic settings, In-Patient facilities, virtual settings, and schools.

The therapeutic process has been found to be challenging but what is harder to live with a less than a good quality of life. My commitment to assist my client’s can make that therapeutic process less intimidating. Through my dedication and the client’s willingness for change together can assist with the struggles of the client's mental health. The main ingredient is enough courage to take the first step and reach out to a professional for guidance through the healing process. There is no greater strength than addressing those things that are keeping someone from their full potential.

My name is Joetta Willis, Ph.D., LMFT. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I believe in helping others help themselves. I hold certifications as a Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Grief Informed Professional. I have an integrated approach to therapy. I like to meet the client where the client is. My most common approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I am also a Christian Counselor. I believe in partnering with my clients and taking a journey together. I like to help my clients discover their inner strengths. My clients feel empowered.
