Dr. Dennis is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Georgia and Michigan with over 20 years of experience. She is trained to assess and treat adults and children. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. She is fairly eclectic in her approach to treatment. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. She employs aspects of behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play, client-centered and psychodynamic therapy.

I am seeking to work with clients and families who want to uncover why life is not as fulfilling as it could. I want to help bring light to dark places in people's lives. I provide services in under served areas to reduce the effects of disparity in the mental health community. I feel that mental health is a right for all people at all stages of life. A little help now can have big impacts later in life. I also constantly advocate for the rights of the mentally ill.

Hello, I am Najla (Nay-jala)! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned my Bachelor's Degree from University of West Georgia in 2002 and Masters Degree from LaSalle University in 2005. I have worked in the mental health field for 20 years with children; families; adolescents; and adults. My specialties include play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma focused CBT. My skills and training include working with families and individual experiencing personal, relationship, and/or emotional struggles. Also, survivors of trauma, Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and ODD.

As a faith based, evidence based, and clinical counselor, I believe therapy is a collaborative journey between the client and therapist. Every individual is composed of mind, body and spirit. If one is out of balance so are the other two. My objective is to provide help on the path to wholeness and tranquility. My first goal in counseling is to create a safe space for clients to express feelings and challenges encountered. As ordained clergy, I believe it is important for clergy to have a forum to express their challenges and thoughts without repercussion or concern about perceptions from congregations in which they serve.

It is my experience and belief children and their families desire a loving bond and connection despite the life obstacles they may endure. My techniques and interventions provide reassurance, support, guidance and insight through cognitive behavioral, behavioral modification,play therapy and trainings.My entire professional career, over 15 years, has involved working with children and their families dealing with crises and/or temporary concerns. I have experiences in settings such as daycares, emergency shelters, residential facilities, mental health outpatient clinics, and foster homes. I work in tandem with pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and teachers to ensure the best effective treatment for my young clients.

My career as a therapist started in 2012 and I am extremely passionate about working in the helping profession. I worked in a variety of settings including psychological centers, elementary schools, job corp, nursing homes, and head start educational centers. I serve children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
