Welcome folks! I am a queer therapist who focuses on working with folks surviving trauma and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Experiencing trauma of any kind can have a profound effect on the way you view yourself, the world, and others. My primary focus as your counselor is creating a sense of safety, and prioritizing connection with you as a person. Healing from trauma is challenging, and my goal is to allow for a space that is both repairing and empowering. It can also be challenging to find therapists that are truly LGBTQIA+ affirming. I work hard to create an inclusive environment that allows you to explore your identity.

I take a trauma-informed approach with all clients and utilize techniques and principles from CBT, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Destiny specializes in anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, sex positivity, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
