I am passionate about being there for others helping them discover their strengths, build their resilience and increase their joy. My approach is client-centered and focuses on empathy, compassion, and being there for others so they feel truly seen. My hope is to meet clients where they are in each moment and help them find their inner strength to be their truest self. I am a wife, mother, and survivor of infertility that can relate to the struggles and joys of parenting and navigating relationships. I love to support parents, children, women and couples as they try to find their way during challenging times.

We incorporate parent education with individual and family counseling in a supportive and compassionate environment. We work with ages 7 and up, and people from all backgrounds. Our goal is to make sure anyone who needs or wants counseling can obtain services, regardless of financial circumstances. Your first session is $275 and subsequent sessions are $120. I have been a Special Education Teacher and Counselor for over 30 years. I have a deep passion for children/adolescents and their well-being. My philosophy is based on a psychodynamic, developmental approach, which includes object relations theory and the model of Kohut’s Self Psychology. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is also helpful in changing patterns that impede growth and awareness. Expressive Arts are often useful tools in developing new perceptions and perspectives for problem-solving. I believe in the process of our God-given Life and therefore respect the unfolding of each individual person.

I have worked in crisis services and community mental health with children and adults. I practice primarily from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered (Rogerian) approaches, and have training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I love working with clients who are ready to challenge themselves to grow through their experiences - clients who challenge themselves to step outside of their comfort zones to grow into better versions of who they are. Jake is especially interested in working with children and families in rural Oregon who are at disproportionate risk for poor developmental outcomes. Appropriate referrals include concerns related to mood, anxiety, or stress response in individuals college-age or younger; concerns related to autism, ADHD, learning abilities/styles, intellectual functioning, or other social, emotional, cognitive, or adaptive developmental concerns; concerns for adherence to a medical regimen (especially T1D); and concerns related to parenting behavior, family stress, family communication, or child/adolescent behavior management.

My therapy practice has focused on interventions for complex family systems including co-parenting after divorce, raising special needs children or supporting patients with navigating agency involvement (child welfare, corrections, education). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) whose career was founded in Pediatrics. I have a strong commitment to helping families develop secure relationships and additionally offer attachment couples counseling using PACT, EFT and IFS models.

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 25 years and have worked in the mental health field for over 35 years. In my private practice, I specialize in Trauma Play Therapy with children 2 yrs-10 yrs, EMDR, Ego State Therapy/Structural Dissociation, high conflict custody cases, and foster/adoption cases. I am a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapist, Register Play Therapist, Certified Experiential Play Therapist, Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Therapist, and Ego State Therapy . I also have extensive training in Art and Sand Tray Therapy, Yoga Therapy, and Pet Assisted Therapy.

Accepting New Clients. Victoria M Bones, LCSW, ACHP-SW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience and training. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1978. Victoria has extensive knowledge and understanding of those who have survived life altering events such as emotional, physical and sexual abuse as well as other traumatic situations. She has been a long time advocate for children, adolescents and adults. She is in private practice in Medford & Ashland Oregon.

Gabriel McCoy, LMFT (Clinical Director of Trinity Counseling Center, LLC) holds a B.S. from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.

My therapy approach is tailored to the individual and their needs and goals. My approach will typically include one, or a combination of, the following; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), as well as Play Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I also utilize EMD Therapy to assist clients in processing through trauma as well as anxiety/depression. I work with clients to address a variety of areas including; depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, domestic violence, among others including attachment related issues. I also work with clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and work with a delightful therapy dog, Piper. With so much happening in the world and our own "backyard" it can fee overwhelming. I offer Telehealth services if indicated and most insurance providers are making this easier during this time of high stress and uncertainty.
