I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Connecticut. I specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults on an array of issues that may be disrupting everyday functioning and affecting overall well-being. I understand that each individual life is complex, so I work to understand all of my client's internal struggles as well as external environmental stressors. Throughout my work, I use a strengths based approach, while utilizing aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic frameworks.
I am well-versed in treating Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, family conflict, life transitions and defiance/behavioral issues. I meet each of my clients with unconditional empathy and compassion to ensure that they feel safe, heard and secure in the therapeutic environment.
