I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a graduate degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). With over ten years experience, I have worked with a variety of clinical populations in different settings, including in-patient psychiatric facilities, long-term care facilities and rehabilitation centers, and I have provided counseling in both residential and outpatient settings. With a flexible and eclectic approach - inspired by a background of both psychology and social work - I tailor treatment to each individual.

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS! As a licensed Psychologist in the State of New Jersey, my primary function is to serve as a consultant and ally in helping clients identify and reach their treatment goals. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families across a variety of systems. This range of experiences has allowed me opportunities to work with exceptional families, many of whom were entering treatment for the first time. I have been working in the field of psychology since 1995 and have vast experience working with clients of all ages and with challenging issues. I believe that the key to successful therapy begins with an empathetic and sincere relationship between the client and therapist. My approach is somewhat eclectic, meaning I tailor my approach to meet the needs of my clients. I employ a biopsychosocial model coupled with psychoeducation, humor and cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal therapy as a foundation. As a former Division I athlete, I am sensitive to the challenges athletes face and also practice sports psychology.

Helping you understand the root of the problem while working towards healing, in a safe and warm environment is a focus of my therapeutic model. This helps positive change become possible.
