I am a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My scope of practice includes counseling for those struggling with drug and/or alcohol issues for themselves or those in their lives as well as mental health issues. I have worked with clients of all ages for nearly 25 yrs. I provide drug and alcohol evaluations with a lead time of at least one month. I primarily meet with clients at the end of the day by Zoom/phone, now throughout New Hampshire.

I can support you in finding ways to engage differently with difficult symptoms and challenging experiences. Symptoms of anxiety, depression and PTSD drain our energy and can make life feel unmanageable. Current events including climate change, increasing violence, racism, sexism, homophobia, and wealth inequality, can be overwhelming and make us feel more isolated and hopeless. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in NH. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals through my previous work experience in community mental health clinics, and group private practice. I strongly believe that a person is not their diagnosis and that each client is unique. I have a highly individualized approach, matching evidenced based treatments and a warm approach to meet each person where they are at. (I currently only have daytime availability open for sessions - between 10am-3pm).

I work with individuals with ADHD, OCD, Trauma, anxiety and sexual concerns such as men's issues, porn addiction and polyamory. My treatment modalities focus on the individual and it's not a cookie cutter approach. I incorporate modalities like CBT, Mindfulness, Stages of Change, Trauma Informed Therapy and Solution Focus therapy, and use podcasts, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok videos, books and more as supplements as well. My patients are eager to improve their lives, but often stuck as to where to start or where to begin.

My areas of focus range from CBT, DBT, trauma focused work, gender identities and sexual orientation and working within relationships to establish things like trust and open communication. I strive to provide culturally competent practices to my clients. I enjoy acting as a mirror to my clients; reflecting their thoughts and ideas back to them in a new perspective.

Practiced in utilizing solution-focused interventions and a short term treatment model. I strive to instill hope and encourage clients to utilize their strengths to navigate the many challenges life can present.
