Starting the healing process is not easy. Please acknowledge that looking at this page is already a major step. As a therapist I have worked in multiple settings in Rhode Island with a focus and expertise in helping clients who are experiencing issues with substance abuse, sobriety, and emotional disturbance. In addition, I am skilled in helping clients overcome challenges with anxiety, depression, codependency, anger management, chronic stress, mood disorders, as well as grief and loss. I specialize in EMDR treatment which is a helpful modality for individuals who need help resolving past trauma. I am accepting new clients.
I approach therapy from a strength based and trauma informed perspective. I am trained in a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational interviewing (MI), and Screening, Brief, Intervention & Referral to Treatment (SBIRT).
I would like to help you reestablish self trust and confidence in yourself. Let's work on changing thoughts that are not helpful and work on strategies that promote change.
