I have over 25 years of experience providing resources and assisting people to heal through community agencies. I specialize in children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and mood disorders, life changes, adoption issues, trauma, grief, and multi racial children or children being raised by caregivers of a different race. I provide experiential therapy to assist kids who do not connect via traditional talk therapy. I provide methods such as equine therapy and outdoor therapy, as well as incorporating elements of play therapy, art therapy, and music therapy.

Life is a beautiful journey but it's path is undeniably filled with "pitfalls" that can ensnare us, imprison us, and rob us of hope. Hi! I am one of the newest members of the Accepted Family Therapy team, provisionally licensed as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Mississippi. My experience has been with treating adolescents, college students, individuals, and couples with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, and family origin issues. We all have “our stuff”, but “our stuff” is a result of what goes on in our families, our jobs, and our relationships. I work with my clients to figure out how it all works together (or doesn’t) and how you, as a client, fit into that picture.
