Hi. I'm Michelle Sheridan. I have over 25 yrs. of experience helping couples and individuals through difficult times, transitions & situations in life. I'd like to help you, if you feel it's "Time For A Change"! I help people to deal with anger, resentment, frustration, depression and overall unhappiness. There's no time like the present to look at what choices you've made in the past & how your past may be affecting today & your future. Learning to communicate in a productive way, finding your voice. I can help you succeed in identifying problem areas, understanding them, understanding yourself and others.

I would like to provide a safe place to heal and process. To hold onto hope when you are unable to have any. To lift you up in support of your goals for yourself and your relationships. I am ready to invest in you. My hope is for us to work together to identify what you need and to find ways to best meet those needs. I specialize in addressing depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, preparation for marriage, post-traumatic stress, and grief.

I enjoy being a comforting confidant to others who are struggling. My goal as a therapist is to invite you into a safe environment and to be a conduit of empowerment, education, and healing. The therapeutic process is an invitation to heal, grow, and confidently move forward in achieving your goals and dreams. I use a diverse approach in sessions composed of the following theories: Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and inner healing prayer.

John Tuttle graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master of the Arts degree. John is licensed in the State of Michigan as a clinical mental health counselor. At his most recent placement he diagnosed and treated patients with various disorders and worked with clients desiring help with relationship issues, difficult circumstances, and life stage adjustments. He currently owns and is the primary therapist at Lakeshore Guidance, LLC. John also holds a Master of Education degree from Grand Valley State University and has worked in elementary and middle schools on anti-bullying programs and crisis response intervention.

I believe we all desire to live freely, love fully, be our real, true selves, and become our best selves. I want that for myself, and I want that you. But this earth we inhabit is a broken place, and life is messy and complicated. Relationships can be tricky too. Understanding and managing our own emotions, while trying to live with, and care for others and their stuff, often seems like an impossible endeavor. We all struggle with something or someone sometime, and there is no good reason to face yours alone. Life cannot be done on our own - it is too complex. We need others, others need us, and we all need GOD.

I provide counseling for children, teenagers, young adults, and new mothers. I have years of experience working directly with children - including working with children in the foster care system, caring for children in the public school system, and therapeutically supporting children. My goal is to work with individuals who need guidance in the struggles of life. I am open to all walks of life and strive to create a supportive mentorship role with all clients.

With more than twelve years of experience in clinical therapy working with children, teens, and adults, I am knowledgeable and skilled in helping clients address delicate topics. I am a mother to four children, so I understand the day to day challenges facing families, parents, and children.
