I work with people dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, grief/loss, suicide/self-harm, parenting, self-esteem, and abuse/neglect. While I specialize in Christian Counseling, I also work with many people who prefer not to incorporate their faith in the therapeutic process. My style tends to lean toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping people overcome self-defeating thought patterns. I’ve been in private practice for 20 years.

I have deep compassion for those struggling with the disease of addiction. By utilizing my knowledge and empathy for these individuals, I am able to assist them in their therapeutic processes. For over 20 years I have been involved in the mental health system and have had the privilege of helping individuals & families achieve their goals and overcome a variety of challenges (i.e. depression, anxiety, mood disorders, new transitions, relational, & substance abuse struggles). While speaking both English & Spanish languages, my hope is that each individual that I encounter will gain a better understanding of themselves, and also learn valuable skills to move forward towards a more fulfilling and flourishing life---to be able to find 'Peace of Mind'--within themselves and within their surroundings.
