Within the therapeutic process and environment, the need was a genuine, safe environment of emotional support and acceptance towards desired changes.

Welcome to Pathways 2 New Beginnings. My practice is specialized for individuals and couples who need support with coping skills, communication, life stressors, anxiety, and possibly a new direction in life. During our sessions, I will use a combination of CBT and SFBT, which focuses on a person's present and future circumstances and uses their strengths to work through presenting problems. During our initial session, I will help you develop a vision of your future and offer support as we determine the skills, solutions, resources, and abilities you need to achieve that vision successfully and resolve your presenting problem.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process; therefore my role is to assist you in working towards solutions that benefit you in the best way possible. My area of focus is working with adults around stress, anxiety, and depression. My highest priority as a therapist is to cultivate a space for you as a client to feel safe, supported, and unconditionally accepted. Mental illness has such a stigma that it prevents most from seeking the appropriate services that are needed. I provide services to individuals who find it difficult to participate in processing their issues; whether it is depression, anxiety, PTSD or parenting to individuals and families. In a non-threatening environment, one can discuss issues related to their difficulties functioning and relating to others. I also work with individuals with chronic and persistent mental illnesses.
