Prior to working at Michigan Psychological Care, I worked for several years at St. Vincent Catholic Charities Children's Home in Lansing, MI as a residential therapist providing individual, group, and family therapy. I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model to help further address incidents of trauma in children and adolescents. Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like to spend time reading, watching movies, painting or drawing, and being outside.

I have been a Christian Family Therapist since 1989. Therapy at RHCC is focused in Christian beliefs and is Bible based. I believe strongly in the Christian convictions I was raised in and hope to share these with the people I work with in my office. Renewed Hope offers: individual, marital, and family sessions. I am a licensed Master Social Worker. I am affiliated with the American Association of Christian Counselors and Focus on the Family. I truly believe in the ability to improve our lives and families as we make God our anchor.

After years of working with clients who expressed symptoms that were unmanageable or persistent no matter their efforts; I found the standard textbook approach for treating individuals was old and unable to create lifestyle changes so many of us searched for. I strongly believe that all patients are unique, therefore I will utilize the most integrative holistic treatment after taking into consideration the patient as a whole. I provide an open, non-judgmental environment where patients can feel safe and understood. I am a Limited Licensed Counselor who specializes in anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, marital distress, and trauma for individuals, adolescents and couples.
