I have worked as an outpatient clinician, crisis clinician, and as a homeless outreach and engagement clinician. Specializing in trauma and addiction work with adults and adolescents.

My primary focus in psychotherapy is to help persons who are suffering the effects of undo stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or risk-for-harm. I work with my clients to help them address the physical, psychological, social, or spiritual issues that impede their well-being. My intent and hope is to help you be the best you can be.

I have enjoyed my private practice for over 50 years - full-time since 1979. Although I consider myself a generalist, I have concentrated working with individuals, couples, families, adult children of alcoholics, substance abuse, codependence, grieving, gay and lesbian, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence. I have had the privilege of working as a therapist for over 25 years, focusing on Cognitive Therapy with a deep understanding of Insight Meditation and MBSR. My training at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia has equipped me with effective strategies utilized to maximize the benefits of CBT for my clients. I have training extensive training in Internal Family Systems. Sometimes short-term therapy may be beneficial, and Solution-Based Therapies can be helpful in solving a personal or professional crisis.
