I am a board-Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I received a Bachelor's degree in Human Development/Education from Lesley College and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. My experience includes advocacy work for children and families, parenting education groups, family education assemblies on substance abuse as well as individual and group therapy in community mental health settings and in private practice. I have also worked with individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders in residential/inpatient settings and partial hospitalization programs.

I provide holistic counseling to assist you to explore root causes for your addictions or other events that bring you into counseling. Together we will work with your entirety to provide you with the healing only you can attain. As you explore events in your life you will begin to make the connections and learn ways to release and retrieve lost energies in your life. Her education, training and personal experiences allows her the ability to work with individuals of all ages and challenges. Mood swings, anxiety, relationships, depression, substance abuse matters , as well as group work are some of her specialties. It is her belief that people need to be validated, respected and heard, to feel valued and productive. She strives to assist people in meeting their goals effectively, by improving sense of self and wellbeing.

I provide support to adolescents, young adults and adults who may struggle with substance use, codependency concerns or allies of those who struggle with substance use. Those who eventually make their way to see me are usually experiencing a difficult time within their life, which will be met within a judgment free zone with compassion and best clinical practices.
