I am a board-Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I received a Bachelor's degree in Human Development/Education from Lesley College and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. My experience includes advocacy work for children and families, parenting education groups, family education assemblies on substance abuse as well as individual and group therapy in community mental health settings and in private practice. I have also worked with individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders in residential/inpatient settings and partial hospitalization programs.
I specialize in helping individuals learn new tools to manage anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and those struggling with stage of life challenges. My approach is strength based and person centered. I believe that each individual’s journey is unique and, as such, I take a highly individualized approach to treatment.
I am accepting new patients and want to walk with you in your journey in discovering all there is to learn about yourself and your capabilities. I look forward to working with you and developing a trusting, supportive, therapeutic relationship to help you meet your treatment needs and goals.
