I have over 25 years of experience providing therapy to children, adults and families who are dealing with issues related to trauma, anxiety, ADHD, grief and family/marital problems. I strive to provide a trauma-informed, strength based, welcoming atmosphere that will allow you the opportunity to explore and improve the unhealthy patterns and relationships in your life. My work focuses on strengthening parent-child relationships, couple relationships and understanding the impact of our family systems on our growth, development and success. I have a particular interest in early childhood mental health and parental relationships.

I use an integrative approach, combining my background in psychotherapy with neurofeedback to facilitate the healing process. I have used traditional methods alone for years to help clients heal, and am now Board Certified in Neurofeedback and able to integrate this approach as well. For many, the effects are life-changing. Neurofeedback therapy stabilizes the brain, creating a foundation that allows other psychotherapeutic techniques to be more effective.

Their goals would be identifying healthy boundaries and healthy responses, increasing effective communication skills, and identifying past relationships/present relationships in order to identify patterns/habits.

Awareness of what you need is the first step, and I will be present, to listen and guide you back to your chosen path. It is never too late to restart or go in a different direction and no one needs to do that alone.

This includes being able to have back and forth conversation around ways to achieve that goal, as well as have the more difficult conversations when it comes to road blocks and the occasional self sabotaging behavior.
