For over 25 years, I have been providing psychotherapeutic and psychodiagnostic services for children, adolescents and adults. I work collaboratively with children, adolescents, parents and families in psychotherapy, parent consultation and family therapy and specialize in providing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for children with learning, developmental and psychiatric difficulties and consulting with public and private schools about the needs of such children. I also specialize in providing psychotherapy services to children and families in the context of divorce, including post-divorce parent coordination services.

For the past 10+ years I have been in private practice serving kids, adolescents, and adults. I provide neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic assessment and consultation as well as individual and group therapy using a strengths-based approach. Much of my practice focuses on helping Middle School and High School students who are struggling with learning, social, and emotional adjustment through collaboratively identifying the obstacles and challenges they may be facing and helping them to recognize and embrace their qualities and strengths. Evaluation also involves working closely with parents and helping to identify the most appropriate schools, supports, and home strategies.

I am a developmental neuropsychologist who specializes in diagnostic evaluations and therapy with infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children (ages 0-10). I believe that a thorough neuropsychological evaluation leads to proper intervention which can help a child overcome a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and learning problems. I will walk you hand in hand through the evaluation and treatment process and follow your child over time to ensure that he/she makes progress and doesn't "fall through the cracks." I will develop a treatment plan for your child and help parents, providers, and teachers put services into place and recommendations into action.

I provide neuropsychological testing and evaluation services for children and adolescents struggling with the various challenges that can impact learning and school success. Comprehensive neuropsychological and educational assessments help parents better understand a student's learning profile and strengths and weaknesses, and help to identify underlying processing deficits, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), executive functioning and organizational difficulties, attentional deficits and ADHD, as well as social-emotional-behavioral challenges that may be impacting school functioning such as ASD, anxiety, or depression.

I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults in a range of outpatient clinical settings and K-12 school placements. My caseload includes clients of varied ages from a range of diverse backgrounds. I frequently collaborate with guardians, DCF workers, schools, doctors, and prescribers regarding client care. I also provide in-depth psychological testing reports that evaluate executive function challenges, learning disabilities, attentional challenges and emotional difficulties.

When children experience challenges learning, paying attention, interacting socially, or struggling emotionally, parents often need support to better understand these challenges. Neuropsychological testing provides information about how a child is growing, identifying areas of strength and possible challenge so that parents are in a better position to support their child's development. I work collaboratively with parents to tailor an assessment to understand the nuances and unique context of each child's experience. From the assessment, recommendations are offered to develop a specific plan to address the child's particular needs.
