My favorite clients to work with are males ages 12 & up, couples, and groups in conflict. For people who are motivated to grow but feel stuck, I've learned the collaborative process of breakthrough can be fun and exciting! Many of my clients have been Christians, finding they preferred to work through important issues with someone who understands and shares their values. However, your faith can play as much or as little of a role as you would like it to during our time together! My clients tend to value a laid-back yet straightforward style, finding courage to pursue curiosity and adventure instead of fear.
Oftentimes, my role is that of listener and organizer. I can ask the right questions so we find the real roots and effective solutions, which are often surprising. We'll talk about the hard things as needed, but we'll use techniques to make it easier than you might think. Mostly, though, we'll focus on your strengths and solutions, because that's what works.
I'd love to chat and see if I'm a good fit for you or your son! I'm also happy to help provide referrals if someone else would be able to serve you better.
