I view counseling as a collaborative relationship between the client and the counselor. This collaborative relationship allows the client and therapist to work together to address issues the client is facing through the development of mutually agreed upon clinical and personal goals. During therapy, I focus on patterns of thoughts, behaviors, moods, and communication that may contribute to client distress. I often address these issues utilizing Person-Centered, Systems, Cogitative Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (evidenced-based therapeutic practices).

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience. I graduated with a Masters of Social Work degree in 2004 from Southern University at New Orleans. As a mostly Adlerian therapist, I will help clients to explore their behavior patterns which may be interfering with attaining their goals.
