I have been pleased to work with diverse populations including individuals (adults, adolescents, and children), families, and Veterans experiencing imbalances that are created by life stressors and trauma. I’ve also assisted families and parents in implementing parenting skills and strengthening child and family relationships. By utilizing the preferred frameworks, clients will begin to pair strategies and skills with skills they already possess for mental health stability.

I strive to provide a warm and cozy therapeutic environment and convey empathy and understanding in order to allow my clients to feel safe and validated during our sessions. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Mississippi in 2008; I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Trauma Professional.

I am the co-owner of Family Therapy Clinic of Louisiana, LLC. I have over 28 years of clinical experience, providing a variety of services including psychological assessment, cognitive-behavioral treatments, and medication management. Although I treat a number of clinical conditions, I specialize in working with anxiety-based disorders including OCD, PTSD, and performance anxiety issues. I have worked with hundreds of athletes, and provided psychological services for LSU's Athletic Department over a period of 17 years. I am also licensed as a Medical Psychologist and manage medications for a variety of treatment issues.
