We all have stress...question is: “how do you cope?” Good news: there are many tried and true evidence-based approaches to help you get better and do better…no matter what combination of troubles! After losing my son-in-law to addiction and self harm, I decided to get a masters in mental health, and learn all I could…to treat the whole person - emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It’s called integrated recovery. We are each uniquely complex and layered; so are our challenges. I wish to give you practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and to rise - learning to connect with others and embodying your best self.
Anxiety or depression often occur along with drinking or drugging, even when the substance is not the problem. Recreational drinking may become a problem after being used as a coping tool as we come to rely on the drink or drug for that help. We want reliable tools that don't cause problems so we don't wind up adding to the dis-ease.
You are the expert on you, and you know the particulars. Would you like to start exploring more who you truly are? Everyone deserves to be happy with their life, but only you can find and fulfill your purpose. I can help facilitate that journey.
