Who are you outside of being an athlete, employee, or boss. As a Mental Health Therapist and 10 years experience in Sports Medicine, I have worked with thousands of athletes, aiding in their physical needs to get them back to full capacity and into competition. Through my experience I have found that, whether on a court or in an office, individuals can only be their best if they are focusing on their entire health and wellness. Their mental game is as, if not more, important as their physical wellness in finding success. I focus on five factors of holistic health: creative, essential, social, physical, and spiritual.

I love making therapy a positive experience that leaves clients feeling happy and excited to come back the next week. My practice is focused on therapy with kids, teens, adults, and families. I use play therapy, Theraplay(tm), and Whole Brain Child interventions to reach kids and teens. I enjoy working with adults on determining what career path to take, how to adjust to college/full time employment, mid-life career issues, and stress management/mindfulness skills. Issues from Anxiety, ASD, and Depression often pop up at this time of life. I am here to help them navigate!

I am grateful to have been a part of helping so many individuals, couples, and blending families resolve their issues over the past 35 years. While the experience has honed my therapy skills, each new person or relationship is unique and requires exploring solutions that fit their individual personality.

Being a parent is a joy like none other. This may however become challenging if your child (especially a teenager) battles emotional, behavioral, eating disorders, lack of confidence or addiction problems. Teenagers with these issues often argue, have hard time expressing emotions, have disruptive behavior, sudden change in eating habits and conscious of their body image. They might resort to use of alcohol or other drugs to escape struggles. This does not mean you are a bad parent; it is just a difficult time for your family. You just need someone to walk you through during this difficult time.

From a leader in church youth groups to a case manager and street outreach worker for runaway and homeless youth, I have worked with adolescents in a variety of settings since 2006. As a therapist, I have been doing individual and family counseling with adolescents since 2015. I also have experience doing individual therapy with adults and desire to help people become what God has created them to be.

My primary goal is to facilitate the positive development of children and adolescents. I work with children, adolescents, families and professionals to identify areas of difficulty and goals to improve functioning. Once goals are identified, important skills are taught that will help children/adolescents adjust to home and school. I am a Licensed Mental Health Professional with 20+ years working with children, adolescents, and adults who have suffered some type of trauma in their lives. I work with sexual, physical, and emotional abuse as well as other circumstances such as school violence, medical procedures, and any traumatic event affecting the day to day life experiences.

Dr. Ken Morris is a state licensed professional counselor with 30 years of experience. He has a passion for working with people that struggle with marital and relationship, substance abuse, mood, and trauma issues. Dr. Morris works with teenagers and adults and offers individual as well as group counseling using traditional and highly effective holistic modes of therapy. As a therapist and supervisor, Stan works through an Attachment Theory lens. He values working with a treatment team, and utilizes a multidisciplinary approach, highly valuing each individual for his/her own uniqueness. He believes in a holistic approach to counseling through exploration of psychological, emotional, spiritual, and relational aspects of one's life. Therapy modalities that will be utilized in treatment include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory. I have been passionate about psychology since high school and it gives me great satisfaction being involved in the process of helping people facilitate changes in their lives needed to help them grow. I have over 30 years of experience working in a variety of behavioral health settings and started my own private practice in 2014. My practice includes women 18 years and older. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, college-age students and women. I do not provide couples therapy.

I believe the most important factor to success in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Finding the right fit is essential.
